Megan Beck was a storyteller from a young age, as she shared a room with her sister, Rebekah, who begged for stories each night.  Her imaginative tales drew from extensive reading and worldwide travels with her military family.  When her father moved the family to China where he taught at a university, Beck refined her story-telling skills through English-teaching and humanitarian experiences.  After Beck returned to the USA and graduating from Liberty University with a degree in Education, she enjoyed a variety of work experiences involving children.  She used these opportunities to tap into how to use imaginative experiences to help children make valuable life discoveries that inspired them to live in a fulfilling way.  With this mindset, Beck developed the concepts of the Firefly Books and the Dream Cap Series, both of which were published by New Directions for Academic Advancement to help children learn to read.  Beck continues to write and look for ways to help give children with bright futures.
